Come along on this wonderful adventure, The Enchanted Island of Yew, based on the writings of L. Frank Baum author of the world famous, “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz”.  This app is an amazing interactive storybook for children that will take readers on a journey into a world full of magic, adventure and even mystery.  Children will meet a brave Prince, fairies, kings, dragons and many more interesting characters.  I really loved this app and thought that the story was a great read, and the illustrations and artwork are absolutely beautiful!

The story will teach children about what it is to be brave and victorious when faced with fear, and also the importance of honesty and friendship.  I should mention that this is a nice, long storybook – featuring 12 chapters and almost 90 pages of text.  As children read along, they will need to find and collect the hidden tokens scattered across the chapters – in doing so, they will be able to unlock and discover the journey of following the story on the amazing interactive map of the island and receive a prize!  There are also plenty of fun animations and interactions on the pages of the storybook, some of the fun effects include –  physics, magic, rain, snow, lightning, fire breathing and more!

I really enjoyed the Enchanted Island of Yew interactive storybook app.  I think that kids will love the story, as well as the beautiful artwork and fun interactions.  If you are looking for a great new storybook to read with your children – be sure to check out the Enchanted Island of Yew!  To preview a trailer, visit:

Great review, made me purchase a copy and am really impressed. The sound effects are amazing, my kid loves them. For the update, they might consider the voice over as well.
