I have recently discovered that the older your children get the busier and more complex your schedule gets. Between carpools, practices, lessons, and outings with friends sometimes I feel like I am being pulled in a hundred different directions at once. It is hard to coordinate schedules and make sure everyone is where they need to be when they need to be! Thankfully, technology is helping out moms with fantastic apps like Family Organizer by YadaHome!
I have to say, that I had to review this app over the holiday break so my life was relatively calm and uncomplicated. However, I have spent the last few days filling it up with things I need to do once school is back in session next week and it has been a life-saver! This app has it all: a Grocery List options, a To-Do List and a Calendar. It is so easy to use, simply tap a button and type in your lists or events and the app does the rest. The best part about this app is that you can invite other family members to use the app and then you can share items from the app with each other. Do you see where I am going with this? My husband, my daughter and I can all see each other’s lists and calendars. So we can look at the calendar together and coordinate rides and appointments without having to try to remember when everyone else’s stuff is going on. Also, I can make a shopping list and then call my husband and ask him to stop at the store for me and pick up the things on the list and it is all right there at his fingertips without the hassle of having to read it to him or text or email it. Another great feature that I have found is that my daughter can use the To-Do list to keep track of homework assignments and their due dates so my husband and I can know what she needs to get done and provide friendly reminders when the date is approaching.
I am so thrilled to have this app! I am actually excited for my life to get busier again in the coming weeks so I can use Family Organizer and see how it works. So far, I have been extremely impressed. The app is very user friendly; however there is a helpful FAQ section if you need help getting started to accessing the full features of this app. Seriously, I am 100% convinced that this app is going to do wonders for my sanity and it has already made my New Year get off on the right foot. Here is to an organized 2015 for my family!
