Hanna & Henri – The Robot is a great interactive story for younger children. Come along with Hanna & Henri as they build a robot friend. This story allows children to take part in an adventure where Hanna & Henri go to Hanna’s aunt’s to build a robot! I thought that this app was very creative and a great way to make reading fun!
As kids make their way through the story, there are lots of educational activities and interactive features, such as sorting fruit and choosing the correct color. I like how the app alternates between storytelling and interactive moments and games. The app is great for any age as it has narration as well as subtitles, but is designed for preschoolers. I love that the robot can be built several different ways, using everyday objects. Kids will be able to use their creativity as they decide what their robot should like, and then see the robot come to life!
The app is available in both English and Swedish. Parents can choose to have the narration active, or turn it off. When the narration is off, text will be displayed and children can read along as they would a regular book. There are no ads or in-app purchases to worry about, which is always nice.
I really enjoyed Hanna & Henri – The Robot. I think that this app would be perfect for preschool age children. I know my almost 4 year old and I enjoy playing the app together. I would definitely recommend this app to the parents of preschoolers!
