If you are a puzzle enthusiast, or have kids that love puzzles, this new Jacob Jones app is a must have!  With Jacob Jones and the Bigfoot Mystery: Episode 1, kids will enjoy a rich 3D puzzle world. I thought that this app could be enjoyed by both kids and their parents – it might be a really fun one to explore and play together!  I want to mention that this app has been featured as an App Store Editor’s Choice!

Let me start by saying that I really loved the graphics in this app.  The 3D world is beautiful and the interactions make the app a fully immersive experience for kids.  The app begins at Camp Eagle Feather, where Jacob Jones has just become the newest “Brave”.  Jacob has also just befriended a large friend, the Bigfoot, and is on an amazing adventure to uncover what exactly is happening at Camp Eagle Feather…what is lurking in the forest at night?  There are many questions to be answered…so come along and help Jacob Jones!  Along the way, kids will meet a fun cast of “weird and wonderful” characters that they can interact with (all characters feature a full voice over).  Through solving the challenging, brain-teasing interactive puzzles, kids will help Jacob on his adventure.  I thought that the controls were intuitive and easy for kids to understand – there is a lot of tilting and touching on the iPad.

I really loved the Jacob Jones and the Bigfoot Mystery: Episode 1 app.  I am excited that there are going to be more installments, and I would definitely recommend checking out this first one.  I think that the graphics and animations are top-notch, this app is truly beautiful!

Disclosure: I received a free copy of this app for review purposes.
