Lola’s Alphabet Train arrived in the App Store last summer but it recently underwent a big update. The premise is the same – ride along with Lola as she travels by train, making stops and completing alphabet and reading activities. Along the way she’ll earn coins that can be used to purchase prizes to fill up the train cars. The activities still work on three difficulty levels but the amount of content has been increased. The activities now use double the number of words and pictures that they previously used. The activities also felt more appropriate for their assigned difficulty levels.

Lola’s Alphabet Train looks great and I’m really liking the look of the letters and pictures that are being used in the activities. Everything runs smoothly and the developers have done a nice job updating and enhancing their original app.
