Lola the panda is back in the App Store with the brand new app Lola’s Math Train. She’s riding her train once again but this time solving math problems on her way to collect friends for a party. The app has been developed for children between the ages of 3-7 and parents will find three levels difficulty for the fun, interactive learning games. There are nineteen different math games and when Lola stops her train children will have a chance to play and answer the questions. When they’ve found the correct answer her train will move along. After a certain number of problems Lola will arrive at the platform and get to pick up one of her friends. It will be up to your child to pick which one climbs aboard. The rest will have to wait for more math!

Math Train works on number recognition, adding, subtracting, puzzle solving, shapes, sequencing and more. Those are just the concepts I found when i played the game. I also found that there is a definite difference between the easy, medium and hard levels. In addition to that, the app has been designed so that the levels will be self leveling. According to the app’s iTunes description it includes “games that are dependent on the success of the player within each of the levels”. I like this concept because those that need a challenge will get it and those that are struggling will find easier problems, avoiding frustration.

Lola is easy to pick up and begin playing from the very get go. Lola herself explains the instructions and children will pick up the game play right away. Lola’s Math Train is another quality app from BeiZ and I have to say Lola’s friends are absolutely adorable. Who wouldn’t want to put them all on the train?
