Once a player matches each clue with the correct abbreviation, acronym, or symbol, it is time for them to answer questions about the correct choice and the topics they represent! I really enjoyed the concept of this game and thought that this was a game that the whole family could play together. As it says in iTunes, “After you play Name It!, OMG and YOLO will no longer be the only abbreviations and acronyms in your vocabulary!”. The goal of Name It! is to take advantage of our increasing reliance on using shorthand language and transform it into a challenging and fun game for players of all ages. Maybe this game will help parents know what their kids are texting them!
The Name It! app includes a variety of different abbreviations, acronyms, and symbols. There are also several “bridge abbreviations, acronyms, and symbols used. This app offers a wide variety with over 170 multiple-choice and true-false questions. Players will love the lightning round which features 10 new abbreviations, acronyms, and symbols to guess.
I really enjoyed the Name It! app. I thought that this app had a fun concept. I would recommend checking this app out and playing as a family!
