Looking for a quick, streamlined way to share photos from your iPhone? Try PhotoRocket, a free app designed to let you share multiple photos, to multiple people at the same time. After you’ve signed up for your account you’ll be off and running in a matter of minutes. It’s extremely easy to add in the email addresses of those you’d like to send photos to. You can either type them in or select them from your phone’s contact list. PhotoRocket lets you add a standard quick message that will appear each time you send photos, this saves time when you’re sending them out later on. In addition to sending photos by email you can also share them with websites. PhotoRocket integrates with Facebook, Flickr, Shutterfly and Twitter.
When you’re ready to share photos you can either take one directly from your camera or choose photos from your camera roll. After you’ve chosen your photos (and picked who they’re going to) all you’ve got to do is tap the “Share Photos” button. Off your photos will go and they’ll go fast. Your friends will receive an email letting them know you’ve shared photos and they’ll find a link that will take them to the PhotoRocket site where they can view the photos up close. Once you’ve begun sharing and receiving photos through PhotoRocket you’ll see them in the app under “My Photos”. I like this feature because it keeps track of what you’ve shared and when.
My usual method of sharing iPhone photos has been to go through the camera roll and email them out. It can be a bit slow and tedious so I’m pleased that PhotoRocket turned out to be everything it said it would be. The app has been well designed and it makes photo sharing quick and painless. The entire process from start to finish was seamless for me. I think this one is a winner!
