Snot & Fluff – A Space Adventure is a beautifully hand-drawn interactive storybook for children.  With Snot & Fluff – A Space Adventure, kids can enjoy an interactive story with all the fun features of an adventure game!  I though that this app was very well done and my five year old son loves it.

Kids will experience a story about friendship, courage and helping others – I thought there was a great moral to the story.  This interactive storybook focuses on the friendship between Snot and Fluff, two friends who are quite different.  Snot is a traveller, an adventurous type.  Fluff loves to be at home and bake cookies.  One day, Fluff is really missing the company of his friend, Snot, who is out on a space journey.  Fluff decides to be brave and build his very own rocket to travel and find Snot!

The app is filled with beautiful hand-drawn illustrations, 45 pages total.  The story is accompanied by over 35 minutes of professional soundtrack, as well as more than 400 funny sounds.  There is even a fun 3D effect when you tilt the tablet/phone.  I thought the app was very easy to navigate for children, and I like how it features a page index – so you can easily pick up where you left off or skip straight to your favorite part of the story.  The interactions are lots of fun – kids can find a key to the pirates’ secret box and see what treasures they find, solve the mystery of the electric cave, visit an alien spaceship and much more!

I really enjoyed Snot & Fluff – A Space Adventure.  My five year old son and I enjoy reading and playing together.  I would definitely recommend this app to the parents of younger readers!
