Safari School Review

Climb aboard and enroll in Safari School. Join Leo the Cat in a fun and educational jungle adventure as your child learns colors and numbers and have hours of fun while they’re at it! The vibrant and colorful scenery and adorable jungle creatures what child could refuse such an enjoyable learning environment?

Safari School has three levels of play depending on the age of the player: 3-4, 4-5, or 5-6. Once you have selected the level, Leo the Cat takes you on a ride through the jungle where you will meet creatures from buzzing bees to a hungry elephant that has an appetite for fruit! Your child must gather the correct number of items and sort them into the correct categories. Next they are loaded onto the train car and taken to animals to eat. Finally, your child feeds the hungry animals the correct number and type of food they request. If they complete it successfully, they are rewarded with pieces of candy. Once they have earned 12 pieces, they get bonus items that can be used to enhance the game. These things include additional characters and accessories to dress them up, a vending machine and coins to purchase treats, and cans of paint to change the color of the train.

Safari School is a pretty basic app in that it teaches pretty basic concepts. Based on my experience, I would say that it is best suited for 2-4 year olds as my son who just turned 6 was pretty unchallenged by it. Despite its simplicity, the app is pretty cute! The graphics and characters are vibrant and adorable and the bonus prizes are fun to open up and interact with. For a free app, this one is definitely a great one to pick up. The content is pretty good and there are no ads or in-app purchases to worry about! Check out Safari School and let your kids learn with some fun jungle friends!
