As a fan of photography, naturally this app looked very interesting and useful to me. Let me just say, I love this app! Snapperific is the perfect app for those who like to take pictures on the go and would love to share those photos with others. The idea of Snapperific is to create a photography experience in which you are able to take a photo, edit the photo, print the photo – and even have it shipped – all from your iPhone (or other compatible device)! Think – super convenient…

Once you open the Snapperific app, you will be taken to a very simple and user-friendly main screen. There is a catch-phrase at the bottom of the screen – “Your Photos. Ordered. In a Snap.” – they aren’t kidding. You will see that you have four main options to choose from: Buy Prints, Settings, Review Orders, and More. Ok, let’s talk about the fun part first – Buy Prints. Buying prints and shipping them from your iPhone has never been easier. When you select the Buy Prints tab – you will first be shown a list of your photo albums (contains all photos on your device, same as what appears in your Photos on the home screen). Now, you may simply select an album and then a picture or multiple pictures and choose “Done”. Once you have done this, you will be taken to screen where you can edit your photos by rotating them, using photo effects, and then choosing the size you wish to order. I was very impressed with the array of sizes in which you are able to print your photos – photo sizes range from standard sizes of 4×6 to 16×20, squares from 4×4 to 10×10, miniature wallets, to even 8×10 to 16×20 prints stretched on canvas! I personally have ordered a set of 4×6’s so far, and I am very impressed with the quality and the shipment. You are able to pay for your photo order with a PayPal account or through using your credit card (still processed by PayPal) – so you don’t have to worry about payment security which is great! When it is time to ship your prints, you will be asked “Where Should We Ship Your Prints?” – here you can select “Me” or “My Friends and Family” – you can actually ship your prints to Grandma & Grandpa right here from your device if you have them in your Contacts – awesome!

Let’s talk about the less involved options now – under the Settings tab you are able to customize your experience by authorizing Snapperific to use various photo albums on your device from Flickr, Facebook, etc. Also under Settings, you are able to turn sound effects on/off, turn the “make Snapperific better” analytics on/off, and enter in your personal information (name, address, etc. for shipping). The Review Orders tab allows you to view orders which you have already placed and their details. The More tab allows you to invite your friends to use Snapperific (via Facebook, Twitter, etc.), use the help menu for the app, and rate Snapperific or send the app developers an email.

I really enjoyed using the Snapperific photography app! I think that this app is a must have for those who enjoy using their iPhones to take photos – imagine being able to take the kids to the park, take their photo, and then ship it to Grandma & Grandpa right there from your iPhone. I highly recommend this app and intend to use it in the future for ordering prints – I already have a few photo projects in mind…
