I’m always amazed at what you can find in the app world! This week was another WOW for me with the Disney Magic Timer. I’m even ready to add princess toothbrushes to my next shopping list. (My 5th grader and teenagers will love it, don’t you think?)  Katherine is our lucky reviewer for this one and I can’t wait to see what she has to say about the FREE app and how it works with Oral B and Crest products. Take it away Katherine.

Thanks JoDee! I was so excited to check out this app for several reasons. I know I can always expect top-notch quality when it comes to Disney apps, and of course I am always eager for any opportunity to make part of our bedtime routine a little easier. I am happy to report that this app did NOT disappoint on either front! When I introduced the concept to the little ones, they were BEGGING to take the first turn brushing their teeth (a miracle I have never witnessed before). They absolutely loved choosing their own Disney/Marvel character for the brushing profiles and rushed to get their toothpaste ready on the brush for the 2 minute timer to start. I have to admit I was a bit nervous watching them lean over my precious iPhone with toothpaste dripping from their mouths as they brushed, but they were so excited to watch the picture being slowly revealed over the course of the two minutes that it was worth the risk. Once the time was up, the app gives a big congratulations and the brusher gets a sticker for their album AND a star goes on their calendar chart. It’s amazing what such a small “reward” can do for a child and make an everyday task a little more fun and exciting.

We’ve been using the app for a little while now, and the excitement still has not worn off. The kids are brushing for much longer than they used to thanks to the app, and it’s not a battle to get them to do it every night! Thank you Disney and Oral-B for such a great one!
