The World of Puzzles app consists of four main puzzle categories: Shapes, Figures, Transport and Sea. I like how the app will help teach children their shapes and numbers while completing puzzles, it is very educational. Some of the shapes taught are circle, square, triangle and other basics shapes; while the number counting starts at 1 and goes upward. As children complete the puzzles of animals, birds and sea animals they will also learn their names and the sounds they make! The graphics are bright and cheery, and there are celebratory balloons that go across the screen when kids finish a puzzle. This app is great for teaching children the logic skills needed to complete a puzzle, as well as teach them new words, animal sounds, recognition skills and fine motor skills. I also want to mention that the app is available in English, German and Russian – you could even use this app to teach children objects in a foreign language.
I really enjoyed the World of Puzzles app. I think that this app is a fun, educational way to help children improve their fine motor skills and logic skills, all while learning new words. I would definitely recommend this app to parents of young children, I know my three year old son enjoys it!
